See All ReviewsHave to share this because I’m still kind of shocked. We ordered from Cinnamon Indian Catering (run by Mr. Manohar) and I honestly didn’t expect much… but WOW. The saag and curries were $12.99, and the portions were HUGE — like, we had leftovers even after everyone ate properly. That never happens with Indian takeout anymore. And the taste?? Unreal. The koftas were hands down the best I’ve had outside India. Not dry, not overly spiced — just perfect. The laccha parathas tasted exactly like the ones back home. My kids even ate without complaints, which alone deserves a medal 😅 What really got me was the value. We’re so used to paying $18–$22 for saag around Raleigh now and still feeling unsatisfied. This felt generous, honest, and made with care — not like someone trying to squeeze every dollar out of you. Mr. Manohar was also incredibly polite and kind. You can tell they genuinely want to feed people well, not just run another overpriced restaurant. Yes, it’s takeout only but honestly, I don’t care one bit if the food is this good and affordable. With how hard it’s been to find good, reasonably priced Indian food around here, this feels like such a win. Please try them and support this local business. If they keep this quality and pricing, I really hope they blow up. Raleigh needs places like this. Highly, highly recommend ❤️
The food travels beautifully and is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. Every dish is rich, aromatic, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Portions are generous, packaging is neat, and everything arrives hot and delicious. You can really taste the love and attention that goes into the cooking. Easily one of the best Indian takeout spots around — consistently excellent and highly recommended. Chef Manohar and Chef Durga cook everything with so much love, and you can truly taste it in every dish. Their wonderful touch shines through in the rich flavors, perfectly balanced spices, and consistent quality. Every meal feels thoughtfully prepared and comforting — the kind of food that keeps you coming back again and again.
We recently discovered Cinnamon, a restaurant close to our house, and it has quickly become one of our favorites. The food is truly authentic and absolutely delicious. We tried the some of their starters on the menu , Biryani, and Veg Jalfrezi, and every single one was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Biryani was fragrant and well-balanced, and had just the right amount of spice consistency and richness. You can really tell that care and authenticity go into their cooking. It’s such a pleasant surprise to find a place this good so close to home. If you’re looking for flavorful, authentic food that’s consistently yummy, Cinnamon is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!
